Dr. Venugopal KJ | Managing Director
i ) An experienced Food Safety expert and Supply Chain Quality professional with about 25 years of successful professional career working in food quality, regulatory, agriculture and product development in the food industry, coupled with an early career in Life Science research and academia. Involved in teaching at graduate and post graduate levels, cross functional training, technical and QA team building, education and publication, research and quality management. Had an illustrious career as technical head developing, managing and leading high performance teams of Food Quality, Food Safety, Research & Development, Regulatory, and Agricultural/Backward Integration/Contract Farming.
ii ) Has an advanced research and teaching background in Biological Science in early career. Involved in teaching biology/biotechnology to post graduate/graduate students. Published more than 15 research papers in international journals and presented thesis papers in international science conferences. Authored technical papers and reviews related to nutraceutical products and supply chain quality management in reputed international food and nutrition journals. Currently working on a Hand Book of Food safety in spices and herbs.
 
iii ) Worked with AVT McCormick, a JV of the world food major McCormick as Head of Quality and R&D for more than 10 years. Visited many customer plants and labs in the world and worked successfully on various supply chain quality and efficiency projects. Involved in the yearly McCormick Quality Assurance Managers Conference as a resource person and faculty. Well versed with domestic and global food regulatory standards and requirements, third party audit standards and customer standards and other food quality/ safety standards, certifications and audits. Well versed in IS standards and laboratory management system standards.

i ) An experienced raw material and ingredient expert of more than 35 years of illustrious career working on procurement operations of various food and agricultural commodities and natural/synthetic food ingredients. A natural commodity and trade expert with a high level of commercial acumen, business strategy and supply chain expertise with top-level exposure in global sourcing for more than 20 years.
ii ) Successfully developed complex supply chains, sourcing operations, supplier quality systems, vendor/ procurement management systems and modules, backward integration projects and post-farm and pre- processing operations. A successful leader of commercial and trading teams having high level of commodity trading and global sourcing capabilities.
iii ) Worked with AVT McCormick, a JV of the world food major McCormick as Head of Procurement for more than 15 years. Visited many vendor units, commodity markets, customer and supplier plants and labs around the world and worked successfully on various supply chain solutions and efficiency projects.
Binoy Thampi | Project Head
i) An experienced food safety implementation expert with 13 years of experience and versatile knowledge on various food safety standards and customer requirements.
ii) An experienced food safety expert, with hands on experience in various food processing segments. Hands on experience in leading food safety team of AVT McCormick, a JV of world food major McCormick.
iii) American society for quality certified HACCP auditor with experience in auditing various companies.
iv) Pest expert handling stock rotation of more than 25,000MT monthly. Handling pest issues and developing effective monitoring and control programs.
v) Sanitation expert in developing tailor made sanitation program which suit the requirement.Certified GMP, HACCP and BRC Standards as auditor.
Vi) Thorough knowledge on various standards across the world.
vii) Successfully completed 4 major projects starting from design stage to system implementation in FSQS.
viii) Knowledge on food testing lab standards and experience as internal auditor for lab systems.
